About

The Towers of Crete stood upon the playa as a monument, connecting the dirt to the stars, the ancient to the modern, and the abstract world of forms to the our world of the three dimensional. At nightfall the crowns of the towers glowed with flame, each tower taking turns in a dialogue with its visitors.

This project was made possible through an honoraria grant from Burning Man and has been installed at Burning Man (2019) and at Oakland’s Autumn Lights festival (2019).
